Bulacan farmers get piglets, feeds

BULACAN: A total of 3,105 piglets will be distributed for free to selected backyard piggery farmers here in line with the program dubbed as "Babay ASF Bulacan Swine Sentinel Program" of the provincial government and the Department of Agriculture (DA).

Gov. Daniel Fernando and Vice Gov. Alex Castro with the Provincial Agriculture Office headed by Gigi Carilio and DA-Region 3 representatives led the first day of distribution on Monday, September 5, held at the provincial capitol gymnasium for around 158 backyard piggery farmers from the towns of Calumpit, Pulilan, Paombong and Malolos City.
