CA panel okays Garcia, Nograles ad-interim appointments as Comelec, CSC heads

THE Commission on Appointments (CA) has approved at the committee level the ad interim appointments of George Erwin Garcia as Commission on Elections (Comelec) chairman and Karlo Alexei Nograles as Civil Service Commission (CSC) chairman.

The CA's Committee on Constitutional Commissions on Wednesday recommended to the plenary the confirmation of Garcia and Nograles.
