MITSUI OSK Lines Ltd. (MOL), a Japan-based shipping company, continues with the innovation of its vessels by recently installing augmented reality (AR) on its navigation systems.
The AR navigation system provides visual support to crewmembers during their watch-keeping and ship operations by using augmented reality technology to superimpose images taken from the bridge and voyage information.
