AT a policy review meeting in Congress on Aug. 18, 2022, the key policy measure underscored by Chamber of Real Estate and Builders' Associations (Creba) National President Noel "Toti" Cariño was the amendment of Republic Act 7835 or the Comprehensive and Integrated Shelter Financing Act of 1994 to help make home lending sustainable and more affordable for beneficiaries of socialized and economic housing, which has been a banner program under Creba's five-point agenda for housing.
