PH Navy beefs up defense with 2 patrol craft from Israel

THE Philippine Navy (PN) on Tuesday formally welcomed two brand-new, missile-capable Shaldag Mk. V fast attack interdiction craft-missile (FAIC-M) during its christening ceremony at its headquarters.

Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff LtGen. Bartolome Vicente Bacarro was the keynote speaker. He was with his wife Soledad as lady sponsor who initiated the traditional breaking of the sacrificial bottle of wine on the FAIC-Ms.
