UK ambassador eyes enhanced defense ties

BRITISH Ambassador Laure Beaufils is considering initiating measures that will further enhance her country's defense relations with the Philippines.

Beaufils made the statement after calling on Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief of staff, Lt. Gen. Bartolome Vicente Bacarro, said Col. Jorry Baclor, chief of the AFP Public Affairs Office.
