AFTER the provincial government of Aurora announced the implementation of a pork ban on Bulacan, Pampanga and Tarlac, Bulacan Gov. Daniel Fernando assured Bulakenyos, especially hog raisers, that cases of African swine fever (ASF) in the province are under control.
Aurora province issued Executive Order 35, implementing a temporary total ban on the entry of live pigs and pork products from provinces with cases of ASF into the province, including Bulacan, Pampanga and Tarlac, from Aug. 30, 2022 to Sept. 30, 2022.
