THE House Committee on Appropriations chaired by AKO Bicol Party-list Rep. Elizaldy Co on Thursday discussed the 2023 budget proposal of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in the amount of P251.184 billion.

'Our Department's priorities are anchored on the [Unite] agenda, which is synonymous with and supportive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s call for the country and the people to work as one to overcome the numerous challenges in front of us and for the development of the country,' DILG Secretary Benjamin 'Benhur' Abalos Jr. said.
