DepEd to hire 10,000 teachers

THE 2023 budget of the Department of Education (DepEd) has an allocation to hire 10,000 teachers for the next school year.

DepEd spokesman Michael Poa said on Thursday that DepEd Memo 76, dated August 30, aims to utilize all the existing vacant and newly created teaching items by end-of-month to ensure an adequate teaching workforce.
