Peso continues slide at $1:P56.145

THE peso continued to slide against the US dollar on Wednesday ahead of looming inflation rates.

The Bankers Association of the Philippines data showed that the local unit closed at P56.145 per dollar from its P56.02 finish on Tuesday.
