Young farmers program kicks off

AT least 1,700 winners of the Department of Agriculture's (DA) Young Farmers Challenge Program will now enter the regional round after topping their respective provinces.

According to the DA, each winner will receive a financial grant of P150,000. This is on top of the P50,000 for individually managed enterprise and P100,000 for group managed enterprise awarded during the provincial level competition.
