THE 73-megawatt (MW) Arayat-Mexico solar farm of ACEN Corp. and Citicore Renewable Energy Corp. (CREC) is now fully operational, generating enough renewable energy to supply electricity to about 45,000 homes.
In a disclosure on Tuesday, ACEN said the P2.9-billion solar facility was completed in less than a year since its groundbreaking in June 2021, meeting its objective to enhance the country's energy supply, particularly in Luzon, especially during the summer months when power demand is at its peak.
