Sarangani, Phivolcs sign software deal

THE Sarangani provincial government and the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) have signed a partnership agreement on the use of a software application designed to improve disaster preparedness.

The Sarangani LGU said in a statement that Phivolcs and the provincial government will be collaborating on the use of the Rapid Earthquake Damage Assessment System (Redas) software.
