Pakistan braces for more floods

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said very high and above-level flooding is likely to continue in River Kabul in Nowshera district of Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province during the next 24 hours.

River Indus at Kalabagh and Chashma areas in the country's eastern Punjab province is also likely to have high to very high flood levels during the next 24 to 48 hours, the NDMA said in its advisory report on Saturday evening.
