SEC lists new eligible PERA investments

THE Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has released a list of equities, bonds, funds and other securities where people may invest their Personal Equity and Retirement Account (PERA) funds.

In an email shared to The Manila Times, the SEC said it issued Memorandum Circular 7, Series of 2022 last August 11 based on Republic Act (RA) 9505, or the 'PERA Act of 2008,' that outlines the rules on qualified and/or eligible PERA investment products and its implementing rules and regulations.
