The Philippines outlasted Australia, 21-25, 25-19, 19-25, 25-18, 15-12, on Sunday at the PhilSports Arena to move up to the battle for fifth place in the 2022 Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Cup for Women.
Tots Carlos led the way for the Filipinos with 26 points on 25 attacks and one block. Jema Galanza also came through with 18 points as Ced Domingo notched 15 points in the match that lasted for two hours and 31 minutes.
