MMDA launches free rides for commuters

(UPDATE) WITH students returning to schools for their face-to-face classes, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has launched a 'Libreng Sakay' program.

According to acting MMDA chairman Carlo Dimayuga 3rd, seven buses and two military trucks will be used to ferry commuters from Doña Carmen in Commonwealth Avenue to Mabuhay Rotunda which marks the boundary between the cities of Manila and Quezon City.
