Manila to form anti-squatting committee

The City of Manila announced on Thursday the formation of a committee against squatting.

The committee, to be headed by Manila Mayor Maria Sheilah 'Honey' Lacuna-Pangan, will be tasked to adopt measures against squatting including the prosecution of public officials, as well as private individuals or entities 'abetting or tolerating the acts and nefarious activities of the said syndicates.'
