BSP pushes digital payment shift

THE Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) wants to accelerate the adoption of digital payments, with Governor Felipe Medalla particularly noting opportunities in government transactions.

'[F]urther digitalization of government disbursements and collection is one of its top priorities,' Medalla said of the central bank at a GCash event on Thursday.
