Del Monte eyes IPO for 2 subsidiaries

DEL Monte Pacific Ltd. (DMPL) said it is in discussion with banks for the initial public offering (IPO) of its two operating subsidiaries, Del Monte Philippines Inc. (DMPI) and Del Monte Foods Inc. (DMFI), in the United States.

In a regulatory filing on Wednesday, the company said increasing the group's cash flow would allow it to pay off more debt and said it could do so with the planned public offering of its subsidiaries
