WITH an official statement, the Brooklyn Nets have announced that Kevin Durant has rescinded his trade demand and will now stay with the Nets. It was stated that all parties involved, including team owner Joe Tsai, GM Sean Marks and head coach Steve Nash, Durant and agent Rich Kleiman, sat together and agreed to move forward as a team with a goal to win an NBA championship.
Is this all's well that ends well for the other Big Apple team? We still need to wait and see, but there are some winners and losers in this development. The Nets are obvious winners, but let's look at other repercussions.
