AVC Cup: Philippines blanks South Korea, clinches quarterfinals berth

The Philippines blanked a youthful South Korean squad, 25-18, 25-13, 25-17, to clinch a quarterfinals berth in the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Cup for Women on Thursday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

Banking on their experience and home court advantage, the Filipinos jumped on the South Koreans with a 10-3 start to set the tone for their domination of the match.
