Go refiles Immigration Modernization bill

SEN. Christopher Lawrence 'Bong' Go refiled Senate Bill 1185, or the proposed 'Bureau of Immigration Modernization Act of 2022.' The law seeks to improve the immigration services of the country.

Go said the Commonwealth Act of 1940, which provided the mandate of the Bureau of Immigration (BI), is 'an outdated law passed during the American regime.'
