New district for Eastern Samar eyed

HOUSE Minority Leader Marcelino 'Nonoy' Libanan has filed a measure to establish Eastern Samar's second legislative district in order to provide the province appropriate representation in Congress.

'Eastern Samar already meets the requirements to have two congressional districts. The entire province deserves stronger representation,' Libanan said.
