MALACANANG on Tuesday distanced itself from the ongoing Senate investigation into the fiasco caused by the unauthorized approval of an order to import 300,000 metric tons (MT) of sugar.
In a press briefing, Press Secretary Rose Beatrix "Trixie" Cruz-Angeles said the Palace would let Congress investigate the issue.
