PRESIDENT Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. is expected to submit the proposed P5.268-trillion national budget for 2023 to the House of Representatives today, August 22.
Speaker Martin Romualdez, House Majority Leader Jose "Mannix" Dalipe, House Minority Leader Marcelino Libanan, Ako Bicol Rep. Elizaldy Co, who is the chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations, and Marikina Second District Rep. Stella Quimbo, the appropriations committee senior vice chairman, will receive the National Expenditure Program (NEP).
