Magnitude 5.0 quake recorded in Masbate

A MAGNITUDE 5.0 earthquake hit the province of Masbate early Saturday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

Phivolcs said the tremor occurred around 3:22 a.m. about 6 kilometers northeast of Masbate City.
