BSP introduces automated coin deposit machines

To encourage the public to use coins, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) will install the first batch of 25 Coin Deposit Machines (CoDM) in Metro Manila and neighboring provinces.

BSP signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with various companies to implement CoDM to advance digitalization and financial inclusion.
