PSEi up 0.57% on market optimism

THE Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) went up by 39.23 points on Friday to close at 6,863.86 due to continued optimism from investors.

This was after the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) confirmed expectations by raising interest rates by 50 basis points.
