MALACAÑANG Palace announced that August 19, 2022 is a special non-working day in Davao City as it celebrates the Kadayawan Festival.

'On 19 August 2022, Friday, the City of Davao will mark the celebration of the Indigenous People's Day in relation to the Kadayawan Festival. It is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Davao be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to the public health measures of the national government,' Marcos Jr., said in the Proclamation No. 39 released on August 15, 2022.
