Northern Mindanao has new police chief

CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City: BGen. Lawrence Coop formally assumed his post as the new police regional director for Northern Mindanao on Tuesday, August 16.

Coop, who served as the chief of the Civil Security Group in Camp Crame prior to his new post, replaced BGen. Benjamin Acorda Jr., who is now the head of the Police Directorate for Intelligence in Camp Crame.
