DAVAO City Mayor Sebastian Duterte has signed an executive order reconstituting the membership of the city's peace and order council (POC) to address the security concerns of the city.

Duterte, in a recently signed Executive Order (EO) 33, series of 2022, also known as 'An Order Reconstituting The Membership of the Davao City Peace And Order Council,' cited the Department of the Interior and Local Government's (DILG) Memorandum Circular 2019-143 dated Aug. 27, 2019 on the Omnibus Guidelines for POCs, amending the composition of the local POC based on EO 773, series of 2009, or 'Reorganizing the Peace and Order Council.'
