THE government must create programs for an increasing senior citizen population that has doubled in the past 20 years, according to the Commission on Population and Development (Popcom).
This comes as the number of young Filipinos is decreasing, while the number of aging Filipinos 60 years old and above is increasing and will increase further in the next decade.
