THE Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) continues to rebound from the effects of the global pandemic as its net income in the first six months of this year reached P5.02 billion, up 9 percent compared to the P4.611 billion registered in the same period of 2021.
With this result, the agency's net income is now only 13-percent down compared to the pre-pandemic figure. Gross revenues soared by 14.28 percent to P9.438 billion for the first six months of 2022 versus the P8.256 billion recorded in 2021.
