A RECENT Kaspersky study revealed that 67 percent of businesses in Southeast Asia (SEA) were victimized by a ransomware attack, with only 5 percent having either internals incident response capabilities or a regular information technology (IT) team or service provider to figure out a ransomware attack.
Global cybersecurity company Kaspersky surveyed 900 respondents across North America, South America, Africa, Russia, Europe and Asia Pacific, 100 of which were from SEA.
