Bulacan's quarrying fees hit P60M

THE provincial government of Bulacan announced that the collection from quarrying fees has increased by more than P60 million this year.

Lawyer Julius Victor Degala, head of the Bulacan Environment and Natural Resources Office (Benro), said the collection of quarrying fees in the province has been strictly enforced based on the amount of gravel, sand, and types of stones obtained based on the 2018 Revised Provincial Revenue Code and 2011 Revised Provincial Environment Code.
