Pagasa: 'Habagat' brings rain in Metro Manila, parts of PH

THE southwest monsoon locally known as 'habagat' will bring isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in Metro Manila and the rest of the country over the next 24 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric,Geophysical and Astronomical Service Administration (Pagasa) said on Tuesday.

Weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said that habagat is specifically affecting areas in Northern and Central Luzon where scattered rain showers and thunderstorms can be experienced.
