TUGUEGARAO CITY: Villagers' favorite local noodle, pancit batil-patung, continues to be top draw in this city as the pancit eating and cooking competitions took centerstage in the Pancit Festival, a part of the Pavvurulun Afi Festival, on Sunday, August 14, in front of the city government-owned Mall of the Valley here.
The pancit batil-patung with chili is "chicken feed," according to Salvador Narag, who ate a plateful of the delicacy, edging out nine other men in their contest category in just almost a minute.
