Trump mum during New York civil probe

NEW YORK CITY: Donald Trump on Wednesday (Thursday in Manila) declined to answer questions under oath about alleged fraud at his family business, as legal pressures pile up for the former United States president whose house was raided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) two days earlier.

Trump said he had 'no choice' but to invoke the Fifth Amendment — which allows individuals to remain silent under questioning — during hours of deposition at the New York attorney general's office in Manhattan.
