THE Philippines will follow the United States in terms of loosening coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) restrictions such as quarantines and physical distancing but at a "much slower" pace, according to the Department of Health (DoH).
The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had recommended the lifting of health protocols such as physical distancing and quarantines to focus more on those with severe and critical conditions.
