It would be easy to assume that this piece would be about Gilas Pilipinas and how the SBP threw coach Tab Baldwin under the bus. Much has been said about that, and I would rather let you be the judge. I'll just present the basic facts:
Ateneo de Manila University, coached by Tab Baldwin, demolished the top Indonesian university, Universitas Pelita Harapan. UPH won five of the last six championships in its own league (similar to Ateneo), so this team is not a patsy. Ateneo destroyed them by 86 points without Ange Kouame and Dave Ildefonso.
