IT is gratifying to know from the recent news that seafarer happiness is on the way up.

The rise was noted by the latest Seafarers Happiness Index report, published by The Mission to Seafarers. The report reveals that overall happiness has increased to 7.21/10, with levels rising across all categories, a far cry from the previous quarter's 5.85.
