KingWhale boosts finals bid with win over PLDT

KingWhale Taipei boosted its finals bid after outlasting PLDT, 23-25, 25-20, 25-23, 20-25, 15-13, on Tuesday in the round robin semifinals of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Invitational Conference at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Beatrz Flavio De Carvalho logged 19 points and 19 digs to lead the way for KingWhale, which improved to a 2-0 win-loss card in the round robin semis where the top two teams shall advance to the final.
