Baguio sends aid to Banaue landslide victims

THE government of Baguio City has sent financial assistance amounting to P500,000 from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office's (CDRRMO) quick response fund to the municipality of Banaue, Ifugao, which was badly hit by flood and landslide caused by the southwest monsoon recently.

Under Ordinance 49, series of 2022, the grant of the financial assistance to Banaue, Ifugao is in accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic Act 7160 or the 'Local Government Code of the Philippines.'
