Contingency plan for Taiwan OFWs pushed

SEN. Rafael Tulfo on Monday called on the government to draw up a contingency plan for Filipino workers (FWs) in Taiwan should the tension between Beijing and Taipei escalate.

The visit last week of United States House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan — which China considers as a breakaway province — has infuriated Beijing, which has accused Washington of violating the 'One China' policy.
