Bacaro assumes post

PRESIDENT Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. on Monday expressed confidence the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) will be ably led by its 'fearless' and battle-tested new leader, Lt. Gen. Bartolome Vicente Bacarro.

An alumnus of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) 'Maringal' Class of 1988, Bacarro assumed his post as the military's 58th chief of staff, taking over the reins from Gen. Andres Centino who retired on the same day.
