THE Philippine Army's chief nurse and a Maguindanao-based soldier were among the 10 recipients of the Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos Award announced through videoconferencing held recently.
Army chief nurse Col. Maria Victoria Juan, in her online acceptance speech on Thursday, August 4, talked about ensuring the "kalusugan, kaligtasan at kapakanan (health, safety and welfare)" of soldiers on the frontlines through innovative life-saving measures and equipment.
