Filipino-American mayor loses Ohio polls, concedes

b>SANTIAGO CITY, Isabela: Showing professionalism and support, 53-year-old Filipino-American Ron Falconi, incumbent Brunswick mayor and Republican candidate, conceded to his opponent, Melanie Murphy-Miller, after losing the 67th Ohio House District primary elections on Wednesday, August 3.

Falconi on Thursday said he will continue his term as mayor of Brunswick even though he was 'disappointed' with the outcome but 'would live to fight another day.'
