DTI inspects weighing scales in Tarlac market

LA PAZ, Tarlac: The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), in partnership with Tarlac Consumers Council Inc. (TCCI) and La Paz Local Price Coordinating Council, inspected the weighing scales in the town's public market to the surprise of several vendors.

DTI Officer in Charge and Provincial Director Florencia Balilo said the saturation drive was aimed to give consumers their money's worth in their purchases by making sure that the weighing scales are functional and in accordance with the standards set by the government.
