Dengue cases more than double this year

DENGUE cases in the country have doubled this year compared to last year, while 10 out of 17 regions have exceeded their 'epidemic threshold' for the disease, the Department of Health (DoH) said.

From January 1 to July 16, there were 82,597 cases of dengue, higher by 106 percent than the cases reported during the same period last year.
